I am developing methods of weather forecasting that combine machine learning with existing physical models. My background is in machine learning and for much of my career I developed face recognition algorithms at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh Pattern Recognition, and Google (which acquired Pittsburgh Pattern Recognition).
